    世の中は複雑だとよく言われます。実際複雑だなぁと僕も思います。

    本当に複雑。

    だからこそ、僕は峠新吾の歌をお聴かせしたくなった。

    シンプルになるまでそぎ落としたメロディ、
    一度聴いて口ずさんで頂けるくらい明瞭なリリック。
    君のとなりにいる誰かを、気持ちを、時を、大事にしようぜというメッセージ。
    1+1(togetherness)が連なってこの世は成り立って(united)んだぜ。

    峠新吾の歌で届けたいのは、こんな気持ちです。

    この根本部分がグラグラしないよう、
    オーケストレーションもシンプルに固まりながらそれぞれがこだわりを込めています。
    恩田紳一郎(Ds) 棚田竜太(B) 和田直樹(Gt) るみ&まゆ(Cho) これがバンド LoveBohemians。
    みんな友達。
    兼重哲哉エンジニアもこのレコーディングが縁で仲間に加わってくれました。

    峠新吾 "LOVE GROWN -EP"は、
    2008年の夏からみんなでゆっくりと作ったささやかな作品集です。
    Made by friendship。
    そして、好評を頂いているLive音源もちょっとだけ加えてみました。
    Live音源好きなもので(笑

    wikipediaで「ソウルミュージック」を見てみると、
    ”流行歌では終わらない黒人ポピュラー音楽（ブラックミュージック）をソウル・ミュージック、と呼称する場合も..”という記述があります。
    まさにこういう音楽に憧れます。
    流行を追い過ぎると複雑になっちゃいますからね。

7月25日は神南UnderDeerLoungeへ集合です！




峠新吾 mini biography

1975年生まれ　熊本県出身
幼少期は音楽好きの両親の影響で洋楽、邦楽問わずに聴き親しむ。
父親からはベンチャーズ、母親からはビートルズ。
母親のsonyの第一号機 walkman（黄色いヘッドフォン）を装着し、れんげ花の咲く畑を走り回る。
ちなみにwalkmanの中身はマイケルジャクソンの”スリラー”であった。
中学生の時に観たキザイアジョーンズのPVがきっかけで音楽に目覚める。
多感な思春期を過ごし様々なジャンルの音楽を吸収して行く。
上京してからは自身がリーダーを勤めるバンド”native A”を率いて都内各所でライブ活動を重ねる
7年間続いたバンド活動に終止符を打ちソロ活動を開始する。
2008年1stシングル”LOVE GROWN”をiTunes Storeより配信開始する。
同年、シングル”LOVE GROWN”が2008年ベストソウルソングに選出される。
2009年4月先行シングルを含むEP"LOVE GROWN-EP"を配信開始。
配信開始2日間でR&B/ソウル部門で5位にランクイン。
