Before he recently threw away most of the letters, DVW was known as Dominik von Werdt. He played his first DJ gig at the tender age of 16 in Sweden and has come a long way since then, DVW is now 22 and has played in front of large (and sometimes small) crowds in Europe and even Goa.
The sound DVW is known for is full of variety - the only tag that fits his style is "excitement". He's influenced by acts such as Diplo, A-Trak, Chew Fu and Soulwax.
Besides DJing, DVW behind the controllers and crafts track after track, remix after remix - and doesn't get tired of it. A lot of his music lands on pretty much all the leading blogs, and his work even caught the attention of the Rolling Stones magazine! He also released some of his bangers on labels such as Brooklyn Zoo, Lyon Echo, Raucocue and many others.
DVW worked together with respected artists such as Marcus Schossow and Substantial. He remixed (not always officially) Britney Spears, Audioporno, Justin Timberlake, Justice, Yelle and a lot more, possibly even your mother.
