Me too, you knukle dragging sealers!
Animal lover and activist for justice for all, especially those who cannot speak for themselves.I work as Esthetician and make do as much as I can to communicate animal activism. I have had many pets, all rescues from one situation or another. I grew up in San Francisco, the most liberal city, in the most interesting of times,(in my opinion),50's, 60's & 70's. I remember how clean the city was then. I moved to S. Lake Tahoe, where I had spent all my summers as a kid and raised a family as a single parent, working in the casino's as a blackjack dealer, while I attended class's at the community college and ended up with a Paralegal Certificate. Worked for a few years in a D.A.'s office, decided not for me, moved to the lower foothills, started education and work in skin care and massage. I have 2 grown daughters now and 3 grandchildren, 2 of which are old enough and are starting to embrace animal and environmental actvism
"To a man whose mind is free there is something even more intolerable in the sufferings of animals than in the sufferings of man. For with the latter it is at least admitted that suffering is evil and that the man who causes it is a criminal. But thousands of animals are uselessly butchered every day without a shadow of remorse. If any man were to refer to it, he would be thought ridiculous. And that is the unpardonable crime.

The MEANING of LIFE according to Anthony Marr
It wiped out 85% of all species on Earth in the End-Permian Mass Extinction 251 million years ago, and can do it again, right now. The much milder Cretaceous Crisis was the one that wiped out the dinosaurs.
Global warming is real and unfolding. The deniers are either blind or lying.
Thank you for joining our circle of friends. We would like to invite you to visit our website and read about the variety of different FREE, healthy and life saving solutions, available right now, that we can all use, to save our one and only home Planet Earth, to ensure a sustainable green future for all of us, the humankind.
United we stand and prosper, but divided, we have been falling for many years. We must unite, work together, and learn how to transform the information offered on the Tree Huggers of America’s website, into positive and constructive action, to solve humanity’s major ecological problems; 1 Problem, at a time. Ranking number 1, on top of the major manmade environmental pollution’s list, obviously is the relentless dumping of carcinogenic chemicals; contaminating our air, waters, soil and foods.
Silence solves nothing, it never has, and it never will. Our silence will encourage more environmental devastation, violence and corruption at all levels, all over the world. Our silence will help to defeat and silent the peaceful ethical voices of reason and common sense. - It is our civic duty and moral obligation, to get involved and never be silent, to solve our many problems, by simply casting the light of truth and exposing the source of the problem, followed by enlightening educational measures to solve the problem through a peaceful conflict resolution.
There are only 2 ways of spreading the light of truth and hope, either to be the source of light, truth and hope, The Projector, or be The Mirror, that spreads and reflects the light of truth and hope to others, which one are you? - Next time you see the angelic smile of sweet, innocent little angels, our children, running around, growing up in this world, stop and think for just 1 minute, think about what kind of a polluted Home, we are raising them in, and the Home we are leaving behind for them.
M78 WIDE FIELD Interstellar dust clouds and glowing nebulae abound in the fertile constellation of Orion. One of the brightest, M78, is centered in this colorful, wide field view, covering an area north of Orion's belt. At a distance of about 1,500 light-years, the bluish reflection nebula is around 5 light-years across. Its tint is due to dust preferentially reflecting the blue light of hot, young stars. Reflection nebula NGC 2071 is just to the left of M78. To the right of M78 and much more compact in appearance, the intriguing McNeil's Nebula is a recently recognized variable nebula associated with the formation of a sun-like star. The remarkably deep exposure also brings out the region's faint but pervasive reddish glow of atomic hydrogen gas.

The poetry of the turn of the seasons, the beauty of nature and harvest, and the deep, deep connection of all these things with the Great Spirit. We return thanks to our mother, the earth, which sustains us. We return thanks to the rivers and streams, which supply us with water. We return thanks to all herbs, which furnish medicines for the cure of our diseases. We return thanks to the moon and stars, which have given to us their light when the sun was gone. We return thanks to the sun, that has looked upon the earth with a beneficent eye. Lastly, we return thanks to the Great Spirit, in Whom is embodied all goodness, and Who directs all things for the good of Her children.
Happy Thanksgiving, my friends; I am blessed, indeed I'm thankful for the love you have shared, selflessly. May each road that you travel be paved with a smile. Have a wonderful holiday....enjoyed in style!
As you know, I’m an eco-guy and own a company called UrbanScooters.com. Well, I’ve been trying to convince some of our manufacturer’s to produce a more eco-friendly stand-up gas scooter and Go-Ped has stepped up to the challenge. I’d like to throw as much support behind this really cool, propane powered, clean burning, green scooter called the ..Go-Ped Pro-Ped as I can.
If this scooter is successfully launched, they will manufacturer more! Please tell everyone you know about it. If you have any questions, just ask. Check out info and a video about the Go-Ped Pro-Ped!

unimportance, insignificance, poverty, enslavement,
ill health, despair, madness, and all manner of other
unattractive, natural and inevitable things."
On September 14, 2007, Wisconsin activst Amy Burns sent out a circular urging her readers to go to the Baltimore Sun to join in what is destined to be one of its hottest forums ever, a war of minds over the "sport" of hunting, with emphasis on bow-hunting. While her readers began pondering, comments from the pro-hunting side came in hard and fast. "America's most-hated Anti" Anthony Marr jumped in head first, and so did leading anti-huntresses Tierra and Mamasita. Amazingly, the battle is still raging as we speak, more than two years later in November 23, 2009! The total number of comments so far has exceeded 93,000, and growing. This is a phenomenon, and destined to be a classic, not to be missed if you care about animals at all.
NGC 253: DUSTY ISLAND UNIVERSE Shiny NGC 253 Galaxy, is one of the brightest spiral galaxies visible, and also one of the dustiest. Some call it the Silver Dollar Galaxy for its appearance in small telescopes, or just the Sculptor Galaxy for its location within the boundaries of the southern constellation Sculptor. First swept up in 1783 by mathematician and astronomer Caroline Herschel, the dusty island universe lies a mere 10 million light-years away. About 70 thousand light-years across, NGC 253 is the largest member of the Sculptor Group of Galaxies, the nearest to our own Local Group of Galaxies. In addition to its spiral dust lanes, striking tendrils of dust seem to be rising from a galactic disk laced with young star clusters and star forming regions in this processed color image. The high dust content accompanies frantic star formation, giving NGC 253 the designation of a starburst galaxy.

Calcutta sounds like a fable in a song, but in reality, it is where John, my colleague and successor, was murdered. He was on the job for only three days when he got his throat slashed. As an undercover investigator targeting the illegal wildlife trade, especially in tiger parts, his real name was unknown, even to me, nor mine to him. We were just John and James to each other. All I know is that he was Chinese American, while his predecessor James - real name Anthony Marr - is Chinese Canadian, and how sincere he was in helping to save the Bengal tiger from being poached out of existence, while its habitat continues to dwindle due to human pressure...
Thank you for posting the video from "Ellen". The Valley of the Moon, I have been to the Wolf House many times and I have always admired the works of Jack London. "Sailor on Horseback", cool before it was "hip to be cool".
I missed them so much and I grieve for all our suffering deer. It is gun season now so please be careful out there. Best for now to let the hunters kill each other in hunting accidents. Good riddance and hope they burn in hell!
I don't celebrate TG but those who do have a great one.
Thank you dominique and also for the beautiful drawing will add to my collection. Much love and keep the fight.
