Welcome to the world of Domino Saints, a cross cultural mix of music that feels alive and can be shared by all who call themselves islanders. Domino Saints takes Caribbean music back to roots deeper than current popular sound while keeping the modern feeling and rhythm alive. Blending a dancehall sound with Puerto Rican styles, such as Bomba and Plena, the Domino Saints have the infectious dance groove that appeals to the Reggaeton crowd, reggae lovers, and Latinos loyal to the original Hispanic sounds. Our music is street music, club music, dance music, and most of all, music that speaks to people. Our socially conscious lyrics remind people of things that matter in life and how we need to open our eyes sometimes and let ourselves be heard.
As a concept, we wanted to add musicality to the existing urban Latin sound and re-enforce Latin influence to heavily pronounced Reggae beats in a way that would appeal to anyone. Echoes of Soul are fused with danceable one drops and heavy bass sounds to produce something truly deep. Listening to Giselle’s voice and feeling the music can take someone in New York or London back to the barrios of San Juan or Spanish Town.

David and Giselle met in 1999 while both were beginning to explore different musical styles. In late 2005, they began preparing a concept of blending Puerto Rican music with modern day Jamaican music in a way that would emphasize the Latin sound without loosing the urban attitude pre-dominant in today’s music. After about a year of exploration, the first songs were written.
Within a short period of time, the Domino Saints have achieved great things because of the original blend of sounds they encompass and have captured much attention within many different audiences. With solid performances in New York's SOBs and many other shows in both Boston and New York, the group is getting the exposure it needs to open doors. With the sponsorship of Marc Ecko Enterprises, the group has showed the potential to receive the vote of confidence of major companies and the interest of the press.
They also won awards from Toronto Exclusive Magazine, including "Best International Reggae Group" and "Best International Reggae Song", as well as being chosen "New Latin Artist of the Week" by Clear Channel Music in October 2007. They have made various magazine appearances in the US, including Batanga's Latino University Magazine, Urban Mainstream Magazine, and Puerto Rico's Noctambulo. Their shows have had great success and they have developed a solid fan base in NYC, Boston, and Puerto Rico.
Recently, the Domino Saints have made numerous press, TV, and radio appearances in Puerto Rico and other Caribbean islands. They have been featured in Puerto Rico’s top press outlets including El Vocero, Primera Hora, TV Guia, TV Aqui, and Revista VEA, in addition to numerous TV performances on Univision, WAPA, TuTV, and Teleoro.
The success they have shared on other music websites such as www.ourstage.com has lead them to earn the FEATURED LATIN ARTIST spot on AOL Music.
Domino Saints just finished their first record produced by Pepe Ojeda. It is due for release in September 2008 on Itunes and hits stores in Puerto Rico the same month. They just came back from a jam packed tour in Puerto Rico including concerts, TV, Press, and Radio and are now promoting the record in the US.
