....................real..editor....best profile tools................real..editor....best profile tools.................................. Acoustic rock duo Domus met in the late 90’s, when Diego joined a band that Tomas was in, but later the various members of that band moved in different directions, with Tomas going to America, and Diego to Spain. .... When they met up again on their return to Argentina, with fresh songs written and new maturity in their music, now showcasing Tomas’s intricate guitar work, and Diego’s passionate vocals, the duo “Domus” was born. .... With a seductive blend of Spanish and English vocals, using abstract and metaphorical lyrics, filled with continental passion and emotion, their original, refreshing, uplifting sound crosses all language barriers. One radio DJ describes them as “the Simon & Garfunkel of Argentina” .... The beautiful track “Teysela” was recognised as very special by another radio station, and in the first week of airplay was nominated for the Top 40 chart, which is compiled from listener’s email votes. It entered the chart at Number One and stayed there for the whole month, and as a result was inducted into the station’s “Hall Of Fame”. .. Their follow-up song “The Bravest Girl On Earth” has also been inducted into the Hall Of Fame, quite a feat for an unknown, unsigned band from Argentina! .. Both songs are featured on their forthcoming EP. .... Other radio stations heard about the impact this new band were having on this radio chart and contacted Domus asking to feature their music. .... They were recently “introduced” by Tom Robinson on the BBC who contacted them asking to play a track from their album. .... They have received some wonderful comments and messages of support, for example this was posted on one of their profiles: “Music with such feeling should not be left on the shelf. Nor should it have a sell by date. This music is for the masses and it deserves to be out there dancing with the hearts of the many” .... Domus will soon be releasing an EP of songs which they have written with English lyrics. The EP “Epimetatmospheric Paradise” displays yet another side to the talents of Domus. ....
