Hi everyone welcome to THE OFFICIAL DON SHANKS FAN PAGE! I hope that this page will grow and become a fun place for Don Shanks fans to meet! Don Shanks doesn't contact his fans via his fan page but he does see it from time to time so be sure to leave him lots of comments. This page is the only 'OFFICIAL' fan page for Don Shanks here on myspace! My husband David knows that I have been a Don Shanks fan since I first watched him play Nakoma on the TV series Grizzly Adams so he suggested that I start my own unofficial fan page for Don. In time Don saw the page and contacted me and gave me permission to make it official!
I will work hard to try to keep this page interesting and up to date but if you have any additional information that you could send me it would be most helpful and appreciated.

Actor/stuntman Don Shanks also credited as Donald L Shanks was born February 26 1950. He graduated from Southwestern High in Piasa, Illinois. He started his career acting in theatre and doing special effects make up and was discovered while doing a play at the Salt Palace in Salt Lake City, Utah. From there he did special effects make up, acting and stunts for the 1977 television series Grizzly Adams.
From family adventures and drama to action and horror for the past thirty years of his career as and actor and stuntman/stunt coordinator, Don Shanks' wide variety of skills in martial arts and fight choreography, edge weapons, horse back riding, fencing, repelling and animal confrontations has carried him through more then forty movies. Don Shanks is most recognized for his roles as Nakoma from the 1977 television series Grizzly Adams and as the infamous killer Michael Myers in the 1989 horror thriller Halloween 5 – The Revenge of Michael Myers. In 2006 Don played the Fisherman, Ben Willis and was the stunt coordinator in I'll Always Know What You Did Last Summer. He has also done many personal appearances at horror movie conventions such as the Halloween 25th Anniversary Convention in Pasadena, California in 2003 and is scheduled to be at the 30th Halloween Anniversary Convention at Pasadena in October 2008.
