About me:

My name is Donald Peebles and I am the proud author of HIDDEN FIRES (Deja Vu Publications, 2009). I published short stories and poems in SBC, WRITES OF PASSAGE USA, URBAN DIALOGUE and SHOUTOUT! My short story "Social Studies" is one of the contributions in FLESH TO FLESH, a gay erotic anthology edited by Lee Hayes, author of PASSION MARKS, A DEEPER BLUE: PASSION MARKS II, and THE MESSIAH. I am working on four novels, including BASTARDS AND BITCHES - the sequel of HIDDEN FIRES - under my new publishing imprint, Rogina Publications, and a gay erotic short story for a proposed anthology edited by Blair Poole, author of BREATHE. I am a distant relative of Diane Paylor, the first African-American writer who wrote for the defunct teen magazine, SASSY. I am the blogger of IT'S A DONALD THING, which consists of my perspectives on various topics and subjects, such as popular culture, film, television, music, art, fashion, race, sex, history, and culture with an unbarred and uncensored perspective from an African-American gay man. It can be assessed at: http://www.authordonaldpeebles.blogspot.com.
