   About Don Tempi
Description

Don Tempi is half Welsh, half Italian and plays music from adverts that were in circulation in July 1981. He is the saviour of the Jingle. There is nothing else to add.

-------------------------------------------
An Interview with Don
Should you wish to hear a rare interview with Don Tempi which took place in 2006 on the Scaledown Radio Show hosted by Mark Braby and Andy Coules then tune in here. Fast forward to 14 minutes in to hear Don.

-------------------------------------------
Don is now available for hire!*
Yes, it is amazing and also true..
For a highly competative fee, Don Tempi can now be hired to play circa July 1981 advertisments at your very own social engagements!

If you fancy an evening of fun tunes and adverts from your childhood, then come on down and see Don Tempi Live.
Don's shows are always fun and crowd sing a-longs, always encouraged!

Please contact Don or his personal assistant Adrian at:
dontempi@googlemail.com

*In addition, fee must also provide for travel to UK cities by National Express coach and transfers to venue via suitably licensed public carriage.
A courgette free meal should also be provided where possible and remember , Please Note: Don operates a strictly non smoking, non jean or Converse wearing lifestyle. +No UGGS, No Drugs+.

----------------------------------------------
Pacers is the brand new single by Don Tempi!

This is a slightly differing version from that on MySpace as it has a new vocal and a bit more Porta Toni.
It will be a non downloadable single, available on exclusive 45rpm vinyl, that can be played on your I-Gram (A new fangled device also known as a gramophone player)

It is backed with Space Dust and will be the Worlds first all confectionery based single ! So unwrap that and stick it in your gob.

It will be available for purchase online any day now. Those of you prefering a more interactive experience, can of course purchase a copy at Don Tempi public performances. *

Don

*single purchased at live events is priced at 2GBP = a loss of 67pence per unit sold.

---------------------------------
Brief Bio:
---------------------------------
Record Producer, Engineer and Tinkerer Donald Tempi leads two lives - one in South East London , England, the other one in Ravioli, Italy. Often the two converge - mainly for Don's wonderful live shows!

He has produced artistes as diverse as Vic Twenty and The Zoltan Kodaly School for Girls to Crass label punk act D grade.

When not producing, he can be found playing records (DJ'ing) culled from his amazing collection of often woefully forgotten synthesizer and New Wave classics.

His own private musical venture is the work in progress entitled "Music For Adverts"

May 3 2009 4:30 PM

just wanted to let you know we are going to be down at Phonica Records in Soho (51 Poland St ) this Thursday evening (7 May) to celebrate the release of our first album.

we are putting a rather good little soundsystem in.
Then we'll mix up some lovely drinks to ply you with, and go and play a few songs around 8pm. If the weather is nice the windows of the shop slide out and we'll be playing out to the street

hope to see you down there...if not I'll drink yours! - especially if I am holding a copy of the finished article (fingers crossed - they are meant to be delivered that day...)

cheers!
