About me:
Donate Life Illinois is the coalition of donation agencies across the state supporting organ and tissue donation. In conjunction with Secretary of State Jesse White, you'll find Donate Life Illinois out and about across Illinois working to educate residents about organ/tissue donation and encourage donor registration...

ATTENTION ILLINOIS RESIDENTS! Signing the back of your Illinois driver's license DOES NOT ensure your wishes to be an organ donor are honored. Illinois residents need to RE-REGISTER after January 1, 2006 to be included in Secretary of State Jesse White's donor registry and ensure their wishes as a donor! It literally takes 30 seconds. Don't wait, help save lives by taking action NOW!
Why do I need to RE-REGISTER after Jan. 1, 2006?
On Jan. 1, 2006, Illinois became the 43rd state to initiate a consent registry, eliminating the need for additional witnesses for you to become a donor. Prior to this law change, nearly 20% of families were overturning the decisions of loved ones to become donors.
The new registry ensures your wishes to be a donor are honored and will help save hundreds of more lives, but you need to RE-REGISTER after Jan. 1, 2006 to be included!
1. Register at www.DonateLifeIllinois.org
2. Tell Your Friends to RE-REGISTER! ___________________________________________

Hello,
I just want to let everyone know how important organ donation is. My mother just had her second liver transplant on Jan. 24th and my family and I are so greatful for all the people who are organ donors. Without organ donors I would have lost my mother when I was six years old. My mother's first transplant lasted for 15 years. She is such an inspiring woman, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and daughter. To read more about her you can visit www.caringbridge.org/visit/marshafinnantonik
My son who is 27 had a kidney transplant 2 weeks ago. After being on dialysis for 2 1/2 years, thank God he is doing great. Whomever is thinking if they should be a donor, please say yes so others may live.
Hey, Donate Life Illinois Thanks for being Tyler's friend. We really appreciate the support! Please help spread the word about tyler, and add his banner if you can for his upcoming surgery in Maryland.
If you want to chat with the family visit www.tylertucker.com as we can't respond to all myspace messages due to spam.
Thanks,
Jermey (Tyler's Uncle)
From My House To Yours......
I am truly blessed with the gift of your friendship. I'm very sorry that I haven't been in touch like I should have lately. With all that has been going on with Winston I have not gotten too many chances to be online. The weeks have really gone by fast. I praise God so much that Winston is improving and is almost back to 100%. Hopefully everything will be back to normal soon. Thank you for understanding and continuing to be my friend.
Love and Blessings Always,
Sharon & Family†

always... I am a donor as everyone should be!
Thanks for all the good work you do! I am so happy to spread the word to at least my little corner of the world...Keep up the important work! <br />
Thanks for the add and helping spread our personal story of child transplant - the donor and recipient story!
8 years ago today, April 1, 2001, Robert and my daughter, Alisha Meriann received a 4-organ transplant. She was a strong, miscevious and beautiful little girl. She grew and thrived, she learned and amazed us all. We all miss her terribly because as most of you know she became our little angel in heaven on October 6, 2006.
I would like to request that you take a moment today amist your practical jokes and laughter to make sure you hug your children, your loved ones. Pause a moment and enjoy the life we are so generously given. Try to move your mind from the hustle and bustle and just breathe. Please take a moment to remember those we have loved, those we have lost and those that have died and given the most generous gift of all, the gift of life.
