Don Boivin

About me:

Hello, my name is Don Boivin and I enjoy keeping busy with my work, hobbies, friends and family. I love creating things such as writing stories, songs and playing music. Writing stories would have to be at the top of the list. Also on my list, designing computer games, creating different types of artwork and teaching martial arts.
The computer has been one very useful tool over the years. I started working with computers in the 70's and have been hooked on them through the years. I also love cooking and gardening, they both work very well together. My dad was a chef and my mother worked in restaurants, so cooking was just a part of life in our family. I didn't get into gardening until later, but now I love to spend the time in the garden.
Writing poems and songs has always been a passion for me. I could put into words what I was feeling at the time or just use my imagination to come up with a story. Also playing the songs and singing just seem to be a natural thing to do. I think that is why I like writing short stories now, because that is another outlet for me.
My artwork was another natural thing for me to do. I do not remember how early I started drawing, it just seems to be something I have always done throughout my life.
There are a lot of other things that keep me busy and are listed in my interests files. My family, friends and music are the true special times. They keep me tuned to the things in life that touch my heart in a way that all my other hobbies or adventurous times come in second.
