Yer Dirty Old Uncle Waiting for Turkey and Gravy's Interests
General
My children, my Amber, my music.
Go n-éirí an bóthar leat Go raibh an ghaoth go brách ag do chúl Go lonraí an ghrian go te ar d'aghaidh Go dtite an bháisteach go mín ar do pháirceanna Agus go mbuailimid le chéile arís, Go gcoinní Dia i mbos A láimhe thú. That's Gaelic for... May the road rise to meet you May the wind be always at your back May the sun shine warm upon your face, The rains fall soft upon your fields And until we meet again May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.
Grip electrician. I worked in the Nashville film industry for 6 years as a grip and key grip. Have been on a long break but I'm ready to go back into it. Will grip for food.
Yer Dirty Old Uncle Waiting for Turkey and Gravy's Blurbs
About me:
I was born in Tucumcari, New Mexico, in 1957. The hospital I was born in no longer exists. I lived in a 3 room adobe house until I was 6 years old. My father moved a two story house over 50 miles to attach to that 3 room house. At that time we experienced our first indoor toilet!
In 1968 we moved to Altamont, Tennessee. In 1975 I graduated from Grundy County High School in Tracy City, TN. The fall of that year found me attending college at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, TN. I never finished my degree.
In 1979 I joined the U.S. Army. After 3 years in the military I returned to Murfreesboro where I lived until February 2006. My day job sent me to Milan (pronounced MY LUN), TN where I worked for almost a year.
I returned to my home town of Altamont, TN, in January 2007 and lived there for six months. I then returned to Murfreesboro in the middle of July 2007 and have been there ever since.
I have lived a weird, charmed life that has given me my beautiful children and my awesome friends (You know who you are).
You are The Magician
Skill, wisdom, adaptation. Craft, cunning, depending on dignity.
Eleoquent and charismatic both verbally and in writing,
you are clever, witty, inventive and persuasive.
The Magician is the male power of creation, creation by willpower and desire. In that ancient sense, it is the ability to make things so just by speaking them aloud. Reflecting this is the fact that the Magician is represented by Mercury. He represents the gift of tongues, a smooth talker, a salesman. Also clever with the slight of hand and a medicine man - either a real doctor or someone trying to sell you snake oil.
Who I'd like to meet: John Prine, Tom Waits, the guy who invented speed bumps(so I can beat the living shit out of him) and the person who has my recording contract ready. Somebody introduce me.
Go n-eithe na peisteoga thu Go n-eithe na peisteoga thu - 'May the worms eat you.'You're one sick bastard. When you die, you're going to to a very warm place. That is, if you don't already run it.
My motto all my years On The Road was, "I'd rather be hungry than bored." After the first few years, I had it down to just what I needed, then I never had to buy anything extra, just replace what I had as needed. Now five years in this hotel room, I've done it the same way. Keep the overhead down and you have more time of your own. And I always get the best I can afford of everything; quality lasts longer than the thrill of a bargain. Thanks for commenting.

“The piano is a divinely inspired instrument. A mirror held up to its player's soul that captures the light and shadow of the performer and reflects them back to the listener.” --David Lanz
for the younger "boys and girls" enjoy this older song....we, the older people certainly did a lot of dancing to this song "back in da day"...come on and dance wth max and dance with me!....love, jackie and of course MAX!
A few days ago I walked along the edge of the lake and was treated to the crunch and rustle of leaves with each step I made. The acoustics of this season are different and all sounds, no matter how hushed, are as crisp as autumn air. -- Eric Sloane
I HIGHLY recommend (beg) of you all to listen and view this most wonderful video. I can't find the right words to explain how much I LOVE this video....a magnificent myspace friend of mine, (songofjoy) sent this to me, and I am so appreciative. Let me know what you think....with love, jackie and max p.s. I am posting this on my page
"Ticklin' The Strings" by Sweet Hollywaiians
Amazing Japanese hot string band playing 1920's, 30's, 40's style hawaiian, swing, calypso, blues, italian music and originals, featuring vintage instruments.3 songs with Robert Armstrong and Tony Marcus(from Robert Crumb and His Cheap Suit Serenaders)
"The Sweet Hollywaiians have probably the best feel for this 20's music of any string band working today. They manage the rare feat of sounding relaxed even when their playing is hot, are top notch musicians with tasteful arrangements and a full, rich, warm sound.Plus, they have a nice gamut of tunes, from King Nawahi to Giovanni Vicari to Bobby Leecan. See them live, if you can, for an unforgettable experience. If you can't, buy their Cds!" ~ Terry Zwigoff
My fascination with Mustard started at an early age....my father use to make the BEST home made mustard in the WORLD.....he promised he would tell me his mustard secret before he died. Well, he died and never told me. I don't know if I can ever forgive him for that...lol..but the history of mustard is marvelous, along with the labels and art work on mustard cans, and bottles....if anyone has a home made recipe for mustard, please send it to me...i would greatly appreciate it....love, jackie
Dang...you need to stop drinking...your nose looks like W.C. Fields!!! Ah yes, lost my corkscrew in the middle of the wilderness...had to live on food and water for several days....
