Some influences include... George Lynch of Dokken/Lynch Mob/Souls Of We, Randy Rhoads, Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Jerry Reed, E.V.H., Yngwie Malmsteen, Vito Bratta of Whitelion, Reb Beach of Winger, Stevie Ray Vaughn, C.C.R., Golden Earring, Boston, Led Zeppelin, The Doobie Brothers, B.T.O., Bad Company, The Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Rush to name a few, plus most of the metal/hard rock of the 80's. Memories of listening to music when I was five and six years old... how the time flies!

Playing music was just normal in my family...
I grew up around music. My father played the guitar for over 60 years and had a true talent for getting the melody of a song, a talent that I wish I could master. His style was of early country, swing, rockabilly and blues. He is nearly 80 years old now and sadly he cannot play due to illness. I'm thankful for all that he showed me, even when he didn't know I was listening.
Most of my family could play music, so I was listening to live jams at most family outings very often when I was little. Family reunions, church, holidays etc...
My family was a great influence on me. Though I wish I would have gotten more talent than I did, I still hope to pass it along to my children someday.
Practice Tracks - Unfinished Business & Lost in a Dream - These are my latest entries, a couple of jams that I came up with while I was playing around with my new recorder. These two songs are unfinished and unedited, but for the sake of practicing I thought they were good enough to add.
I am learning how to use a new recorder that I have just purchased, so please excuse the poor quality. I am using a Boss digital studio that is just amazing, but a little complicated to use at first. I am new to recording, but I will eventually get better at it.
Welcome to my music page, I am glad to have my music page up and running. I'm currently working on new tracks having fun jamming again, trying to improve on my playing and recording skills. Visit my Home Page for more information about me. I am here for friends and networking. Thanks for visiting my page. Keep rockin'... David

A little about me...
I have been playing guitar since 1985. I am very "rusty" as the saying goes. I have been a truck driver for the last 10 years and most of that time I was over the road staying away from home for a week at a time to two months at a time. I wasn't able to practice very often and now I'm picking the guitar back up, trying to improve my playing and learning how to make decent recordings, just having some fun.
I just want to thank you again for listening to my tracks and for hanging out with me on MySpace. I am trying to practice more and I hope to have some better sounding tunes to post soon. David
Check out the blogs for the latest pics of my guitar kit I've ordered!

Practicing more lately... hoping to come up with another jam soon.

Hey Dave, Things are good thanx man, how bout you ? Hope you're keeping well ? Thanx so much for your comment, means heaps. Great to hear you like the album...enough to show others and get them onto it. That's awesome bro and we thank you for that. It's nice to think somebody all the way over there in the States is spreading the word. It's funny, we do seem to appeal to the young ones quite a lot actually. I've got a few nephews and nieces and they all love it and crank it. It's awesome !!
Anyhoo, thanx again man. It'd be nice to think we can get over there for some gigs one day and share a few ales : ) Til then, keep it crankin. Stay cool bro.
