Tough one! I'm influenced a little by every player I've ever heard that moved me in some way, from B.B. King to James Burton and Don Rich, not forgetting Link Wray, Joe Pass, Jeff Beck, Leo Kottke, Bonnie Raitt, Roy Buchannan, Sonny Landreth, Albert Collins and a list so long I'd get tired just typing it. I love 'em all and try to learn from each of them.

Don... as great as the Palms show with Dirk Hamilton and Eric Westphal was, I sure MISSED your searing guitar and noteworthy showmanship! I'll be seeing them again this Friday night in Seattle. Dirk's new CD is super good! I'm hoping you will join Dirk in California sometime this summer??? WaldoFest perhaps? Stay in tune my friend...

don, thanks for the add! i hope you know i enjoy sitting with one of my guitars, and jammin with you. never learned to read music, i play by ear. don't think i would trade that skill, i have too much fun playin with any band i listen to. you are a great musician, and i only wish i could be that good. i write a lot of songs, and hope someday, someone with skill and know how can help me get my words out there. love your music, carol
