Deemed best Hip Hop entertainers of 2006 and best Reggaeton entertainers of 2005 and 2007 by The Chicago Music Awards "DEO B" brings to you a "New combination of Latin flavor". Chicago locals Daniel Martinez and Ronald Vasquez have captured audiences across Illinois since the late 90’s. Originally from San Lorenzo P.R. and Guatemala City C.A., these two very talented individuals crossed paths in the later part of 2003 where both performed as solo artists at the same venue. Upon sharing the same stage they immediately noticed the same positive crowd reaction. Although one style was in English and the other in Spanish they decided to combine their skills. Immediately they teamed up with the likes of DJ MaddJazz who had already held a reputation of his own in turntableism. This was the birth of DEO B. Since then DEO B has opened up for acts such as Daddy Yankee, Common, Tony Touch, Twista, Julio Voltio, Kool G Rap, Chingo Bling, Yin Yang Twins, Zion Y Lenox, as well as PitBull and others. This had led them to performances at the Allstate Arena, the House of Blues, The ABBEY, Congress Theater, Mambo café, Buddha Lounge, Logan Square Auditorium, Double Doors, The Note, and other popular clubs throughout Illinois.

I love writing, from poetry to lyrics to music to screenplays (I really love movies so I love writing plots). I play the guitar, I work my 40 hrs, like sports, (especially swimming), like to play Xbox 360, Wii and PS3, love watching movies (I think is becoming an addiction) and of’course I party in the weekends, especially when I get in in most spots for free and get free drinks (gotta love the crazy life of a musician). HOBBIES(and I say this because they use to be passions that I have recently been neglecting), Graffiti, I got to love it, I served my years when I was younger, ran tracks, did pieces and scribed windows(Krylons and meanstreaks where my everyday weapons), I also love dancing, since I am a proud latino I dance Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Cumbia, Reggaeton, Cha Cha Cha, House, Techno and of course the Hip Hop in me also drove me to B Boy(breakdance for the chumps that don’t know) for like 4 years in my High School years......3 out of 4 elements...pretty good!...lol. I am an adult so I ain’t gonna front, I like to smoke the Super Tropicana, not everyday but maybe in the weekend, here and there, most of the time when I really want to release my thoughts and zone out with some lyrics. I also drink but I’m trying to quit, dont really like a lot of factors about being drunk, I can’t control it like I control puffing Buddah, really I like to stay sober though, I seem to move forward in life and focus on my goals. My attitude stays positive the whole day and I love just clowning, I feel as if my mind is very old and wise, but what it loves to do most, is be inocent and act like an infant.
