DONKEY CORE RECORDS IS A SIDE PROJECT OF CHEAP ASS RECORDS THAT WE ARE DOING. THIS LABEL WILL BE COMPRISED OF “PAY TO PLAY” COMPILATIONS. MEANING ANY BAND THAT FALLS WITHIN THE TYPE OF MUSIC WE ARE TRYING TO REPRESENT CAN “PAY TO PLAY” AND BE ON ONE OF OUR COMPILATIONS. THE COMPILATION CDS WILL BE PROFESIONALLY MANUFACTURED AND NOT BURNED. THE TYPE OF MUSIC WE ARE LOOKING TO REPRESENT WOULD HAVE TO FALL SOMEWHERE IN ONE OF THE FOLLOWING GENRES.
DEATH METAL , GRINDCORE , HARDCORE , METAL , PUNK , THRASH , ETC.
ALL SONGS THAT ARE SUBMITTED MUST PLEASE BE SOMEWHAT MASTERED. SINCE WE ARE TRYING TO KEEP THE COSTS AS LOW AS POSSIBLE WE CANNOT AFFORD TO HAVE THE CD PRO MASTERED. WE DO HAVE SOFTWARE ON OUR COMPUTER THAT WE CAN DO SOME MINOR ADJUSTMENTS.
EACH COMPILATION WILL CONSIST OF ANYWHERE FROM 20 TO 30 BANDS ON IT. THE CDS WILL BE PROFESSIONALLY PRESSED NOT BURNED. WE ARE DOING THIS TO HELP THE BANDS GAIN EXPOSURE. THE CDS WILL BE DISTROBUTED AMONGST THE BANDS WITH THE EXCEPTION OF SOME THAT WILL BE SENT OUT FOR REVIEWS TO MAGAZINES AS WELL AS RADIO STATIONS AND TO BE SOLD ON THE INTERNET.
