Donkey Ride is a group of young guys (Eero, Mikael, Jukka, and Juho) who found each other in early 2008, accidentally going to the same basement corner to play. The drive was so similar among the players, that forming a band seemed to be unavoidable. Eero started to write songs for the band, and a "search" for a singer began (due to everyone already playing an instrument and the unique non-multitasking way of the male brain). Then one day Tero said to Jukka (the drummer with more than million ideas / second for EVERYTHING) that he could try singing if the songs were good, and where they! Thus DONKEY RIDE was born.
Even though the band is still quite young, the players behind these rocky riffs are no beginners: every player has performed more gigs than Tero can count (except Mikael, but he's a natural! If you don't know that already, come see our gig!).

Donkey Ride on ryhmä nuoria miehiä (Eero, Mikael, Jukka ja Juho) jotka löysivät toisensa vuoden 2008 alkupuolella, kun he kaikki olivat menossa samaan kellarinnurkkaan soittelemaan. Soittajilla oli niin samanlainen meininki, että bändin perustaminen oli väistämätöntä. Eero alkoi kirjoittaa biisejä, ja laulajan "etsiminen" alkoi (sillä kaikilla oli jo jokin soitin, eivätkä miesten aivot kykene moneen asiaan samaan aikaan). Yhtenä päivänä Tero sanoi Jukalle (bändin rumpalille, jolla on KAIKKEEN yli miljoona ideaa sekunnissa) että hän voisi yrittää laulamista, jos biisit olisivat hyviä. Ja ne TODELLAKIN olivat! Näin DONKEY RIDE sai lopullisen muotonsa.
Vaikka bändi on suhteellisen nuori, on soittajilla takanaan enemmän keikkoja mitä Tero osaa laskea (paitsi Mikaelilla, joka on luonnonlahjakkuus! Jos sitä ei tiedä vielä, kannattaa tulla katsomaan keikkaamme!).
