Since March of 2005 Shaina Brenner and Denise Martinez have been broadcasting their Don Mamas Radio Show from the Rutgers University radio station, 88.7 FM WRSU. The duo has interviewed such talent as Young ‘N’ Restless, Cymarshall Law, Fes Taylor, Ill Child, former Terror Squad member Charlie Rock LD, Smoothfellaz, VH1's Tango from the I Love New York Show, David Rush (aka Young Boss), Unstoppable Unity, Born Wreckless, Guru (Gang Starr) and producer Solar, Mitsue and producer Boola, Justina, Donny Goines, Illz, LuGuz, Daytona, J-Biz, Brill, Nucci Reyo, Universol, Fever, Yasin, IGM, Jayden (aka Mike Browne), Sam Scarfo, Chynk Showtyme, Pav Bundy, City Haze, F.A.M., Young Broad, Angelz Inc., Jasmine, Rick Fouche, Swing, Silent Knight, Dynasty, Related, Monopville, and the Roll Wit Us All Stars. In addition to their weekly shift, the Don Mamas also host and conduct live broadcasts at clubs in Central New Jersey. Individually, each member of the show has worked substantially hard to master his or her craft. SHAINA, who graduated from Rutgers University with a major in Communication and a minor in Organizational Leadership in January of 2007, interned with both Columbia Records and The Howard Stern Show on Sirius Satellite Radio. With her Bachelors Degree, Shaina anticipates obtaining an A & R position at a major record label and eventually hopes to operate her own business venture in the music industry. She also holds an assistant management position with Geddy Communications, Inc., a company spearheaded by former Terror Squad Rapper/Producer Armageddon. DENISE, also a graduate of Rutgers University, majored in both Sociology and Journalism & Media Studies. She interned with Shade 45 during the fall 2006 semester and the spring 2007 semester before landing a part time position as a program coordinator at Sirius. Denise’s aspirations are far too many to list, but with her hard driving attitude she is sure to accomplish all of her dreams. She is a true inspiration to those around her. With the airwaves open, they’re ready to advance their show to new heights. The official Don Mamas website (WWW.DONMAMAS.COM) will launch in next to no time, so please keep an eye out!!

From Wize-Fool Wize-Fool on the front cover of the brand new issue of Rapsoulution magazine. READ THE INTERVIEW BY CLICKING HERE http://www.rapsoulution.com/RapsoulutionMagazineIssue16.pdf “I think that Rapsoulution magazine is a wonderful magazine for the independent artist to get spotlight and exposure. I’ve contacted many other magazines to do reviews on my music or to interview me and they start giving me a pricelist of how much something like that would cost. The staff at Rapsoulution is on some, well why do you deserve to be in this magazine, how hard are you working to deserve to be in this magazine. The whole we’ll review this artist because he or she is hot or working hard has been lost with a lot of these hip-hop magazines. Artists, stop paying to be on front covers, stop paying to be in magazines. It’s not a good look.” -Wize-Fool
