Released in 2005, the first DDrive CD received critical acclaim and airplay in the US, Australia, and Europe. The band’s signature sound blends strong classic rock roots with a modern edge sound all its own. The first DDrive CD did so well that Mancuso and Naro decided to put together the band’s second release in 2007 entitled "Straight Up The Middle." The new album has received accolades from a rapidly growing legion of D Drive fans, and is in its second pressing. D Drive released a video in summer '08,

That was a great set at The CNE Midway Stage. D Drive delivered an armoury of straight-up rockers that included “Build My Castle” and “Welcome To My World” highlighted by the power ballad “Pray For Tomorrow” alongside Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Journey songs thrown-in for good measure. D Drive thrives on the same principle that anchors many a great rock band, live energy, musicianship, and solid tunes.
hey ! thanks for being a friend !
wishing you inspiration, clarity & energy ! :o)

Hey Dee, Could your band perform a set at a benefit concert for Japan earthquake/tsunami survivors? I've organized two benefit concerts to help them and they are gonna take place Sunday April 3 (West Bloomfield Congregational Church) and Sunday April 10 (Unitarian Church on Winton Rd.). Please check your in-box message from me and let me know.
