I am retired from the communications industry living in beautiful Fort Clark Springs--the best kept secret in Texas. A gated community noted for the Las Moras spring and big live oak oasis in the middle of the Texas badlands. Now I moved here from Houston and appreciate the lack of traffic and crime. There are many day trips from here like Garner State Prk, Big Bend, Lost Maples, Fort Davis and the Mc Donald Observatory to name a few. I like to travel so this place fits me to a T. I also am close enough to Houston to stay in touch with my children/grandchildren. I stay in shap by walking or working out at the gym. The pool is too cold for me, but you may like it. My dog, Banjo (Jack Russel) usually accompanies me on my walks, so they are more like runs--lol. I love visiting with friends and making new ones. I also sing karaoke. Maybe this site will let me upload a song or two for your pleasure.

I had a GREAT mothers day just spending with you guys!!! I put my vacation notice in today for June 8th- June 16th so we will be there for that time if thats okay!!! Cant wait to see you guys

got home from florida last week. NO, it turned off cool while we were there, and was warm back home. when we left florida it warmed up but got cold here......it was flurrying this morning.. good to be home...loved every minute of the trip

Thanks Donna for the Birthday wishes. I had a nice b-day, my Husband took me to antique alley that goes from Cleburne, Grandview,and Mayperal, then all my kids came for a nice visit. I hope all is going well for you. Enjoy Your Week.
