About me:
The moment I learned about the sin of detraction (studying the Catechism), I flipped *out* about my website. I had never considered this; I'd never even heard the term. Suddenly, I felt like Noah's sons, not covering their father's nakedness. Not only was I not covering my relative's "nakedness," I was baring it for the world. I prayed, wrestled and agonized over what to do. I knew my website had helped and encouraged many to explore the beautiful Church Christ founded, the Catholic Church. I asked my Spiritual Director about it, too. Because Myspace would not permit me to make it anonymous (you are stuck with the name you started with) after much prayer, I decided to just delete my conversion story. As for older testimonies floating around, they were written while I was a Fundamentalist with many, gross misconceptions about the Church; just another part of my crazy journey. I suppose I still stand by everything-- except the anti-Catholic stuff! :-)
Please pray for my deeper conversion.
Christ's peace & blessings to all,
in our Savior's love,
Donna Ellis
