Influences	Some of my favorite artists/writers who have inspired me throughout the years would have to be Janis Joplin, Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash, Sheryl Crow, Danny Michel, Pat Benetar, Luke Doucet and Kasey Chambers. But I listen to everything and I'm definitely inspired by music itself. I really love all kinds and try to support alot of the indie stuff because it's just great music man!!

It's hard to describe Donna Ferra in just a few words but if it had to be said she is imaginative, dramatic and passionate in all aspects of her music and life. Definitely a good recipe for an ambitious artist. Her musical style has grown into a mix of blues-country with a bit of attitude and a touch of old school. With the long awaited release of a second album, Donna has had time to grow and reinvent herself as a songwriter and performer. Exploring many different styles of music has influenced Donna's songwriting and new album. In addition to writing most of her album, Donna has cut songs by likes of Dean McTaggert, Steve Fox and Kasey Chambers. All of these songs say a little something about the style and direction Donna is moving in. From the guitar stylings of artist Luke Doucet to the fresh beats of drummer Gary Craig this album will have the sounds of a raw bluesy country vibe with a hint of traditional flavors to finish it off. There is nothing that will stand in Donnas way of making a record and a music career that she is proud of. Donna just wants to make music that she feels and believes in. After all isnt that what its all about.

Hard Times Band	Jan 17 2008 4:48 PM Recent tragedy here in Omaha struck us hard as we have had enormous personal loss from the shooting&other recent events. We are deeply saddened by the loss of lives of good people and a sad young man who was unable to find his way. As a juvenile attorney and nurse,we have saved some and lost others.We do well as a community to pull together and I truly believe the future will be bright.. We wrote a song.
