Donna Lee brings to life the outrageously funny misconceptions and miscommunications she faced growing up with parents from distinctly different cultures. As Donna Lee imitates her native Thai mother and Irish father (making her Thai-rish), you’ll find yourself cracking up at the sometimes shocking - always funny - stories she tells.
Born in Udornthani, Thailand, Donna Lee was flown to the states in a B52 Bomber in the early 70’s. (So that really does make her a Thai bombshell!) Now Donna Lee calls Central Texas her home and currently lives in Austin with her son, two labs (dogs, not meth) and overweight cat.

About me:
Welcome to Donna Lee Comedy. I'm a stand up comic in Austin, Texas. I remember being on a playground in the fifth grade and deciding I wanted to be a stand up comic. I started this adventure while I was a stay home mom and deciding to finally do an open mic night. I bombed on stage, tried it several more times and fell in love with comedy. Being a comic on stage is like falling out of a plane but the death on stage is a much more painful, slow death. I've now been on Nick at Nite's "Search for the Funniest Mom in America" (Season 2) and "Last Comic Standing" (Season 3). On Nick at Nite, I made it onto the reality series and into the NY penthouse with Katy Segal as our hostess. I did that show after being in comedy for six months and "Last Comic Standing" shortly thereafter. Love it! What else is next? I love my life! "Dreams come true when you ask them to." -me
