A note to the readers of my blogs ... When I was a child I was haunted by a recurring dream of my death and then the release from my body. It was quite some time to acknowledge that this was memory of a life past. As I grew more memories surfaced. More of feeling values than detailed events. The first “recollections” were those of martial and then "spirtual" studies; specifically of Zen and the outlawed Tantra of Tachikawa-ryu in recent Japan. Combined with the instruction of my first teacher at age 14, a Western Sadhu of Natha orientation and initiation in India, I began my lifelong Spiritual journey with the Goddess. I took formal initiation from well known gurus of eastern traditions yet soon felt I was avoiding something in this western birth. I began the study of western hermeticism and the religions of Abraham which over time prepared me for the meeting of my Second teacher, A mystic and ordained Catholic Priest of Cistercian heritage and also through his own youthful seeking, of the lineage of Yogananda. His guiding presence was the greatest impact on me in recovering the scattered parts of my soul and meeting the blissful “upaguru” within.

Chivalry lives in this confident, Irish poet. To feel so free and protected in his arms. He believes in me, teaches me his courtly ways, encouraging my own goals, my own fulfillment. His massaging me, bathing me, becomes almost a second language, a sensual vehicle for feelings to deep to express with words. I’ve never been so pampered. He is a Mystic, a Karezza/Tantra adept, practitioner of Energy Psychology and the martial art of the cane. His mind is philosophical and always active, his viewpoints not always conventional. Creativity and imagination and an open mind are important to him. What he seeks may be off the beaten path, but what he offers has no price. I am woman, his friend and companion. We dance the dance of life in myriad forms, pay homage to ancient ways and open our minds to the new. We watch movies cuddling on the couch, and walk hand in hand under clouds and rain, exploring little shops along the way, taking a picture or two and sharing secrets no other can know. I do know I will never have to compete with Monday night football.
