The world needs another MySpace Band Profile...and I'm just the guy to add it.
My name's Donny Waller. I'm a guitarist with the band Nurse Diesel on Long Island, and I make occasional appearances with the Arlene's World Famous Karaoke Band and Long Island's Live Rock Karaoke. I also play guitar and keys for Snakebite, probably the world's only Whitesnake tribute band.
I was born and grew up in Philly, and moved to New York in 1979. Been here ever since, and have no intention of going anywhere else.
I've played up and down the East Coast, everywhere from dive bars to major concert venues. Been signed to a major label, went through that wringer, and have very little respect for what the music industry has become. I have my own studio and can record whenever I want, so the record companies can bite me.
I'm married and live on Long Island with my wife, 3 cats, a dog, and somewhere around 20 guitars (I haven't done a count recently). My day job is web developer, and I've built sites for Twisted Sister, Joey Sykes, New English, and probably a few more bands that you see here on MySpace.
This page is here so people can check out my original music. I'm in the midst of a recording project that is retro in the vein of Jimi Hendrix - the most innovative American rock guitarist ever.
Anyway, check out the music, because that's the reason I set up this page. Hope you Jimi fans like it. And the rest of you, too.
