My name is Donovan Campbell. I was born and raised h in Monterey County California and now reside in Chico CA. My passion since I was young is music! I started playing drums at 9 years old playing with my dad and all his jamming buddies! One of whom is my stepfather Randy. He is a professional drummer and went to college at the University of Illinois as a Music major which got him the chops that he used to tear up the Chicago scene! It was he that introduced me to music theory and thus the beginning of my journey to be a career musician! I started playing Nightclubs and Bars in the Local area when I was a mere 14 years old and have been an active part in the Monterey music scene ever since. I started plucking the guitar when I was around 16 and have since fallen in love with it. I don't consider myself as good of a guitarist as I am a drummer but have done more projects as the latter! I haven't had large enough living conditions to house a full drum kit so I have done mostly guitar and vocal stuff for the last 10 years! Though I did do Drums for the last 2 "A Temple of Mirrors" albums with a 200 dollar Yamaha drumset I got at costco! I tore that fucking piece of shit a new one but there are moments where the music cuts out because it cannot handle all the shit going on at once!LOL
