The Don Quixote Appreciation Society was originally founded in 2005 by comics Billy Kirkwood, Mark Nelson, Jay Lafferty, David Barr and Aidan McQuade. The unique mixed bag of different styled comedy performers make their gigs a must see. Over the last eighteen months 'The Dons' penchant for quirky promotion and reputation as the 'nicest guys in Scottish comedy' have propelled them into the limelight and enabled them to become a force in Scottish Comedy.In 2006 the group had two sell out show's at the Miller International Comedy Festival with new comedy showcase 'LIQUID COMEDY' and their own special show featuring the founding performers called 'JOKES AND STUFF'.
