Combining such disparate influences as The Dillinger Escape Plan, Converge, Tool, Battles and even Santana, Don't Mention the War are a truly original shot in the arm for rock music. Blending heavy, chaotic outbursts with thoughtful experimentation, all the while never giving less than 100% on stage, Don't Mention the War simultaneously honour their influences while moving forward in a direction all their own.

After having toured through Europe to promote their EP "Whack-a-Mole" the band started touring less and putting more time in writing their full-length. During this period, drummer Bjorn decided to leave the band to focus more on his education. The rest of the band will continue writing and recording the album with the help of drummer Joey Laffort.
