"Absolute genius, I urge you to go and see them live." - Tom Robinson (BBC 6music)
"Really interesting" - Stuart Maconie (BBC Radio 2)
"If the Yardbirds had been one of those shambling 1980s Glasgow bands that Franz Ferdinand worshipped, fronted by John Lennon’s better-read little brother, they’d have sounded like this." - The Times****
"A fascinating future for DON'T MOVE! lies ahead, judging by this fabulously understated record." - The Word
“(DON’T MOVE!) are no Byrds or Beatles rip-off merchants. Instead, their fusion of influences – 60’s guitar bands, jingly-jangly 80’s indie, bluegrass artists, Burt Bacharach’s melodic perfection, as well as the Americana folk inspired by their labelmate and producer, Paul Curreri – has helped to craft a sublime and refreshing guitar pop record for 2009.” - God is in the TV 4/5
“Crammed full of soon-to-be indie floor fillers (The New Pop Sound of..) is a remarkable debut that should see DON’T MOVE! Become household names within six months” - Rock’n’reel ****

Hey Joe, sorry I took so long to get back, been in Palestine for the last couple of weeks. Yeah I'll pop down on Sunday for sure. I should be around. Yeah living in Bristol now. You can still buy your tapes in Oxfam though, there're a couple of old gems lying around that place.
Fab gig tonight at TJH. Hope the rest of your audiences are as good. Just one thing though... Never seen bass and accordion do Tigger impressions before. Highly amusing. x
I'm working on a record with a bit of a country feel. I like to listen to 'Keep Your Silver Shined' on the way to the studio for inspiration! Really like Paul Curreri's stuff too. Hope everything goes well with your album and tour. Been living in Bristol for a few years. The Thekla should be a cool gig for you guys.
Resurrection Men are performing this Wednesday at The Nursery Tavern in an acoustic environment for the first (and possibly last) time! With Johnny Nicholds & Friends and Chloe Juliette Evans.
hey actually i just came across you because john earls gave you a good right up on planet sound, then i read the interview you did and you mentioned the byrds as reference so i thought you guys would be right down my alley. cheers for the add
I was indeed, it was the best 8 quid I've spent in ages, great gig, you guys got the night off to an excellent start. Altough I thought Peter Broderick was the only support so when you guys started up I thought, 'My God Peter is really going in a new direction.'
I take it you've tried calling the Black Box? 028 90244400
I WAS in the Crawdaddy, first row- have seen Jeff a bunch of times, but had never heard you guys, but was really impressed! Hope you'll make it back to Dublin soon!
Today is the first day i've heard 'can't tell' the album version. AMAZING, new pop sound, too right... better than any pop sound i've heard yet new pop sound.
Hi follows. It was a real pleasure getting to know you and share the stage with you while I was in the UK. I hope you had as much fun as me. See you next time. Yours Truly, Curtis ----
