WELCOME TO MY SPACE, my little piece of this virtual mega-metropolis! For the record, I'm Dony aka Don Fury aka Don The Jeweler aka Quest aka... well, that's it. I'm a producer/singer/songwriter/emcee who produces and writes for atists of different styles and genres--and the purpose behind it all is to help re-expose the world to great music. This is to help balance out the universe or something unrealistic like that. If you know me, you know I'm a playful dude--like ALL THE TIME... except when I'm making music. I'm highly regarded in this city because of my ability to entertain, my professionalism, and capacity to help others be in similar positions. I'm originally from Little Rock, Arkansas and I've lived all over the world (7 states and 4 countries). I've been making music since I knew what it was and the exposure to significantly different cultures is what I attribute to my diverse sound. At the tender age of 4 (yeah tender) I got my first drum set, at 5 I started learning piano and how to read music. I played French horn through junior and senior high school; first chair, percussion section leader and Arion Award Winner my senior year. I came to crossroads, one in the direction of a guaranteed scholarship to Grambling, the other to serve my country and independence. I decided the military made more sense, saw the world, went to war and inadvertently found myself in the midst of some of the most talented artists/songwriters/producers and best friends to date--by whatever name, Repatwah, Symon & Sy, Ill Aura, Androm, ATG, Eyecon, 2310, Third Iris, etc. It's always been the foundation and I'll never forget that and attribute where I am and what I am to the connections I've made with these very impotant people. Now I'm in Phoenix... part of one of Arizona's coldest bands, getting paid to do what I love and still building.
