Dooley Drive is a Christian Rock band with a message formed in 2001. Initially, DD began as three man piece playing praise and worship music but gradually developed into a unique six member group accompanied by some edge. However, even though they fuse together best as a Christian Rock group, the guys continue to stay firm in reserving time in most of their sets for praise and worship music.
The name 'Dooley Drive' originated from the street that the Paulding Church of the Nazarene is located in which the late David G. Dooley preached. It was this same church that DD came together and started collaborating with original songs. Therefore, after a few short-lived titles they all agreed that the name 'Dooley Drive' best suited their background.
Even though the band members have settled in different locations throughout the years, they have still been able to continually play concerts and shows thanks to a lot of prayer and dedication. Recently, through more prayer and much appreciated local support, DD was able to finalize their first self-recorded album which can be found on the band's website at dooleydrive.com along with other merchandise.
To put a long story short, Dooley Drive will continue to aim towards their ultimate goal, which is to praise Jesus Christ through their music as long as they are called upon to do so. This morning a friend of my named Dr. Larry Fairbank passed away. He was the District Superintendent for the Northwest Ohio Nanzarene district. His Son is also a great frind of mine. Please pray for the family at this time, as this was unexpected. Thank you.
