Doom Division was founded South of Stuttgart in 2006. From the start it was a foregone conclusion which path should be treaded: Southern Doomcore. Playing their first gigs people were impressed by Doom Divisions Groove-Tunes and riff-oriented Uptempo-Songs. After recording a first Demo in spring 2007, which was sold-out quickly, the guys recorded a second one in winter 2007/2008, which will be released in February 2008. You will hear three tunes, which put the broad musical range in a nutshell: Southern Doomcore. Without losing their self-reliance the biggest influences of their music obviously seem to be the heavyweights of "Crowbar" and the Allstars "Down". In the year of eight further gigs and festivals will come up for Doom Division and in fall 2008 the guys will pay a visit the studios again to record some more heavy tunes. Ear-malleolar-fracture guaranted!
