RORCAL offre de voyager d’atmosphères en atmosphères. Parfois pesants, parfois mélancoliques, les mondes vaporeux au-dessus desquels les musiciens genevois planent se composent d’autant de plaintes désespérées que d’emportements rageurs. Née en 2006 du concours de cinq membres de groupes de région genevoise (Suisse), cette formation Doom / Postcore a déjà réalisé un premier EP (The way we are, the way we were, the way we will be...), un projet audiovisuel en collaboration avec divers musiciens (Monochrome), un split à dix musiciens avec Kehlvin (Ascension) et de nombreux concerts en Suisse, France et Belgique. Le premier album : "Myrra, Mordvynn, Marayaa" vient tout juste de sortir chez Thundering Records. Quelque part entre cieux et abysses, Rorcal développe une musique incisive et planante, l’évocation d’une migration de colosses à travers des enfers de glaces.
BIOGRAPHIE (ENG)
RORCAL offers a trip through differents atmospheres. Sometimes heavy, sometimes melancolic, the fogy worlds were the musicians float are composed of as much desperate cries than raging fury. Born by the gathering of 5 members of various bands from Geneva (Switzerland) in 2006, the formation is highly active through their gigs and writings. After a first EP (The way we are, the way we were, the way we will be...), an audiovisual project in collaboration with different musicians (Monochrome), a ten-musicians split with Kehlvin (Ascension) and many gigs in Switzerland, Belgium and France, the band just released their first full length CD. Through this concept album, the band purposes to discover the tale of "Myrra, Mordvynn, Marayaa". Somewhere between the skies and abysses, Rorcal offers a powerful and melodic music, like the migration of colossus through a frozen hell.

for individuals. If John Smith in London, England wants his own Zebulon
Kosted album, I will make a 45 minute album (one side of a 90 minute
tape), 2 hand drawn mini posters, I will name the album after him
(Zebulon Kosted - John Smith), and the fan will retain all rights to
the recording (for use of any future release, sampling, or broadcasting
rights). One copy of the album will remain in my personal collection,
and one will be sent to the customer, so that the only copy that will
be in circulation will be John Smiths copy! Each album is available for
the ridiculously low price of $10 (not including shipping), and will be
shipped in its completed form no later than 6 weeks from the date of
purchase!!!

Attention, soirée à ne pas louper. On le dit souvent, mais voir le groupe Américains The Psychic Paramount au SAS ne se reproduira pas de si tôt. Ces anciens Laddio Bolocko oeuvrent dans un genre musical entre rock bruitiste expérimental et prog psyche oppressant. Une rencontre entre Manuel Göttsching et Jimi Hendrix qui aurait couplé son acide avec une bonne dose de datura. Connu pour leur live tout en puissance et en décibels, c'est avec un plaisir certain et une impatience juvénile que l'on attend leur prestation. Les jurassiens de Shelving ont profité, sans aucune gêne apparente, de leur habituel passe droit pour venir, avec fierté, jouer leur rock prog Schulzien en première partie. C'est 15 balles et c'est de la balle. P.S Sérieusement, boules quiès obligatoire!!!
