hi this is pat (mAcd) and i'm the creator and part-time custodian of this myspace tribute to Door County music. to maintain and improve it, i've recruited a dedicated core of unpaid professionals who wanna support and nurture the creativity we see all around us in lovely Door County. most photo uploads and friend requests are not done by me, but by those others who've been entrusted with the password. i do occasional updates, check messages and approve comments now and then. my personal challenge is to avoid using it for shameless self promotion and to be more a cheerleader for new and interesting things happening in music around Door County. and i hope every Door County musician, club owner, promoter, booking agent, etc. rises to this same challenge. please feel free to request re-posts of bulletins or other messages you feel are important. i/we welcome your comments and suggestions, no matter how insane or ridiculous..

DOORCOUNTYSCENE.COM is a great listing of special music and cultural events, and also includes some nice graphics and commentary.
Please remember:Don't hold the people who compile these calendars responsible for shows you might miss. Some of the best live music happens spur-of-the-moment or is booked at the last minute with no time for listing or promotion. That's why it's important to stay in touch with your fellow musicians and music lovers. Hopefully, this page will be helpful in facilitating that communication.
