Influences
Some independent acts will send their C.D. your way with a bio that's as thick as an encyclopaedia, endlessly telling you the achievements the band have made in their short time together. Others will send you nothing but the C.D.
For my money, I prefer the latter, because at the end of the day the band will either stand or fall on the music they present to you. And in this case, Dora Mah stands pretty high with their independently released self titled debut E.P. - BEAT MAGAZINE
They say first impressions are a big thing, and it took me only a matter of seconds to feel like I was listening to something from The Police as 'Look Back' opens. Not in a rip-off kinda way either. A nice melodic rock tune that holds it's own all the way through keeping your attention. A good start to this five track EP from these Melbourne lads. 'Don't Run' is a nice powerful rock tune that really grows after a few listens. - BOMBSHELL ZINE
