    (Hi: enjoyed my visit.)

    After you've finished here, you may like to hear this poem sung on myspace...

    Poem 2 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse
    (please see my blog):
    WALKABOUT WITH MY PEN

    Once drove an old sedan, up north,
    From a place in Sydney to Cairns;
    Then to Kuranda I went forth,
    By train, to look without set plans.

    I browsed through the trendy market,
    With fresh fruits of tropical kind;
    Walked to the creek through lush thicket -
    Nature’s hand giving peace of mind.

    I dined in a scenic cafe;
    Then, outside, as I wrote for yen,
    Some passing Kooris called-out: “Hey,
    You go walkabout with your pen.”

    Request or question, I don’t know -
    Assured voices, elderly men.
    That’s now several years ago,
    And I’ve seen the world - with my pen.

    Thanks for adding Mumbai Taxi. We’ll keep you posted on all our trips. Or, you can track us at twitter.com. This week we’re sending these notes:
    FRIDAY, JUNE 12TH: A very special concert under the stars at the ALL NATIONS BED & BREAKFAST, in Indy. A totally groovy gig--- You can bring your own munchies and blanket.-- We're planning a non-stop performance for the night. Tickets will be available soon, but will be limited-- CONTACT US if you need advanced tickets.
    Mumbai Taxi returns to the Chatterbox Jazz Club, (435 Massachusetts Avenue, Indianapolis) on FRIDAY, JUNE 19TH. Back in 2003 & 2004 Philadelphia Phil broke 20 years of attendance numbers at the Box with his mambo orchestra—Now we want to shatter the old numbers with a Mumbai Taxi trip. You’re your friends, bring them along—The Box is THE coolest spot in town. We play from 10 until 2. Don’t miss this Taxi trip!

    “If I had my life to live over, I would start barefoot earlier in the spring and stay that way later in the fall. I would go to more dances. I would ride more merry-go-rounds. I would pick more daisies.” -- Nadine Stair

    Thank you for the birthday wishes!! I rarely go on myspace anymore- I'm more of a facebooker these days :) Thanks for the video clip! Fiest is amazing, leave it to her to have modern dance moves in her music video.
    How've you been? Are you working on a new book of poems? If you are I'd love to hear more about the direction of your newer poetry!
