Dorinda Clark-Cole is the daughter of the Late Dr. Mattie Moss Clark and Elder Clark. She is known as the jazzy and churchy one of the group (The Clark Sisters) also the DIVA which seperates her style. She has a voice like no other the raspy unique voice has made her a gospel wonder. Her energy and youthful look is of a teenager.She is also one of the most wanted Evangelist today she has preached all over the world including Africa which she made history, a gospel Singer, Vice President of the Church Of God In Christ music department. District Missionary, entrepreneur which she founded Lifelineproductions, Cole Enterprise and the administrator of The Clark Conservatory. She is a role model to many young people (especially me)and has a heart of GOLD. She is a sister, aunty, friend and most of all a wonderful wife and mother of two wonderful children! When asked what is her goal she replied "I want people to feel the love for one another. I want to see more young people seeking God and not just going after a feeling or a beatbut after the beat is over, having a real relationship with God. Its not just enough to sing to people; we must make them feel what were singing about, [until] they are moved by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thatsmostimportant in doing what Im doing. The song says, If I can help somebody as I travel along, then my living shall not be in vain. Thats my goal." She has a annual conference called the Singers and Musicians Conference where she has up and coming talent that she showcases and also Gospel Artists to come and speak. Her conference is September 21-23 in Detroit MI. The mission and vision of Evangelist Cole is to bring awareness to minstrels of holy Spirit filled music, and its effect in ministry today. Evangelist Cole`s diligent purpose is to empower singers and musicians with the desire to seek God for deeper revaltion and insight concerning every aspect of their music. Studying and dissecting God`s Word, going beyond just scratching the surface, and finding out what pleases God will produce a fervor in each minstrel to the extent that their very gifts and talents will explode in fullness.Sis. Dorinda has had trials like we all have. Before her mother passed away she had gotten very close to her mother. A "spiritual umbilical cord". Her mother passed down her wisdom and anointing. When she passed away Sis. Dorinda went through a terrible trial in life it got to the point that she was going to commit suicide and as she says she was in her benz heading towards the river ready to end it all! As she was getting ready to accelorate the Lord spoke to her and said "Dorinda are you going to give up everything that I have invested in you?" She said, "Lord help me forgive me!" And well you know the story she is STILL HERE! Thats where she got the anointed wonderful song IM STILL HERE off of her debut album. Many of us have had a IM STILL HERE experience but Praise God HE brought us out!
