I like any kinda music from Country, Jazz, Classical Pop and hip hop. A bit of everything really.
My main musical influences range from Nat King Cole, Luthur Vandross, Michael Jackson, Norah Jones, and of course my Dad.
Doris has been entertaining audiences for years, performing with her siblings in the International Pop group "Five Star".
Renowned for their unique British R&B sound and slick dance routines choreographed entirely by Doris, Five Star were rarely out of the Top 40 during the 80..s and 90..s.Doris also contributed to Five Star..s worldwide success by writing Top 40 hits including "Hot Love" and "Treat me Like a Lady".
When Doris and her family moved to Los Angeles in the early 90..s she continued to write, penning hits including "I give you give" and "Someone..s in Love" to name a few, all charted in the US.
Since returning to the UK, Doris has been working hard setting up an entertainment agency amongst other small ventures. During this time she never lost sight of her main passion, writing Lyrics and Melodies to great music. Doris has taken huge strides forward in her song writing thanks to her strong work ethic, natrural talent and great outlook on life.
Now Doris is writing with some of the best Producers and writers around and making her dream a reality. She is loving life, and her new vision has set her off at 100 mph in the right direction.
