DOSEprod - The work and world of Sam Hayles

Sam Hayles is an independent art-director and graphic designer and has experience in working with bands, record companies, Djs, Artists, Music composers since 1999... Based in the south of France after having lived and worked in Bristol in the UK, his capabilities span from concept development to design/direction, animation and illustration. He is also a practicing visual artist working across different mediums.

Sam spent time as a designer and worked for a few agencies, before becoming totally independant since 2005 to focus on his own design and style and this gave him the chance to grow into the style of design he truly enjoys creating and not be influenced by the various trends that seem to infiltrate the collective output of the design and illustration world.

Apparently he finds computer graphics so interesting, that he does it also in his free time!

Sam Hayles est un graphiste/illustrateur/directeur artistique indépendant qui travaille essentiellement dans le domaine de la musique avec des groupes, labels, DJs, compositeurs et artistes divers depuis 1999. Il réalise des pochettes CD, sites web, vidéo-clips, posters, logos, flyers ..

Basé dans le sud de la France, il a vécu et travaillé à Bristol en Angleterre. Ses capacités vont du développement et de la direction artistique d'un projet à l'illustration et l'animation. Il pratique les arts visuels en utilisant des supports variés. Sam a travaillé en tant que graphiste au sein de plusieurs agences de com, avant d'opter pour le statut de travailleur indépendant depuis début 2005. Cela lui a permis de développer le style de graphisme qu'il a plaisir à créer sans être influencé par les diverses tendances actuelles qui semblent infiltrer le monde du design et de l'illustration en général.

Apparemment, l'art numérique et le graphisme le passionnent tellement qu'il en fait aussi dans son temps libre!
