A mediados del 2003, Carlos (bajo), Job (voz) y Kueto (guitarra) por azares del destino, terminan ensayando en casa de Carlos tratando de armar un proyecto distinto a lo que estaba sonando en Monterrey. Con la idea de lograr un sonido fresco e inovador pero con bases solidas, muy ritmicas es como unas semanas después, Deivis (guitarra) se une al proyecto aùn sin nombre. La necesidad de conseguir un baterista lleva a los 4 miembros a probar gente... sin tener éxito. El proyecto siguió adelante, melodías surgian pero nada en concreto hasta que Kueto y Carlos deciden llamar a un viejo amigo: Kristo (batería). Con la duda de si sus influencias podían ser compatibles con las de los demás integrantes, los ensayos comenzaron un poco tensos y sin mucho entendimiento, pronto esto cambió. En cuestión de días, la química fluyó y rolas como "Empieza Hoy" y "Funky-Disko" daban el inicio de un proyecto estable y ambicioso. Después de varios días y varias rolas terminadas, este proyecto neceistaba un nombre. Al ver como fluían las ideas de cada integrante tanto en lo musical como en lo personal, encontramos una filosofía para nuestra música: "Equilibrio". La banda adopta el Nombre de: "DOSHAS" (Equilibrio entre mente y cuerpo). Al poco tiempo y al ver la necesidad de un toque aún mas latino, DOSHAS opta por llamar a un antiguo conocido: Lalo (percusiones). Las percusiones, brindan a la banda un sonido aún más latino y más profundo. El día 1ero de septiembre del 2003, Doshas queda oficialmente formado. Después de 2 largos meses de ensayar 4 dias a la semana, 4 horas diarias. La banda logra armar el Set de lo que sería su primer presentación en forma el día 28 de Noviembre del 2003. Para el 2004 la banda no esperaría tanta actividad, pero afortunadamente así sucedió. En los meses de Enero, Febrero y Marzo, Doshas se dedicó a tocar en donde se pudiera con quien se pudiera en la ciudad de Monterrey, México. En lugares como: Café Iguana, Clan Destino, McMUllens, entre otros... durante este período la banda toco más de 30 veces. En el mes de Febrero, DOSHAS graba un demo/ep que contiene 12 canciones en el cuál destacan rolas como: "Funky-disko", "Pasajero", "Empieza hoy" y "Marcas en la piel". Para los meses de marzo, abril y mayo, Doshas comienza a tocar en Eventos y Festivales de gran auditoria, compartiendo escenario con bandas como Bamboo, Babasónicos y otros.
