About me:
Two bullets, two DJs = the doubleplusstrong sound to shake the soul shack on the backstreets of New York City.
Tommy Bomb & Raul The Hooligan formed the Double Barrel Sound System in 2005 to spin the classic Anglo-Jamaican thug sounds: reggae, rocksteady, ska, soul, mod, Oi! and punk, with an emphasis on the boss tunes circa '69.
We've been lucky enough to spin with some of our friends and favorite selecters and at parties across the city's reggae underground, including:
We have finally settled in a new home, Greenpoint's finest Boulevard Tavern. With its patio, pool table, rustic atmosphere and BBQ, this bar suits us perfectly as we launch this new venture in partnership with the Shockwave Sound.
