Of all the bands in the world, Double Entity is one of them. What sets them apart from the competition though are their explosive vocals, delivered by Johnny Designer, and the unforgettable riffs and duelling harmonised guitar solos, courtesy of our two axe wielding maniacs, Tay and Phil Myth. All of this is backed up by the rhythm section featuring our resident ball shatter, Mr Jimmy Right on bass and Kraig ‘Dr.’ Love on drums.
But what truly separates Double Entity from the competition is their unflinching dedication to what they perceive as real rock and roll. Riff based music with sing along choruses and true blues infused guitar solos that inspire you to dust off that old air guitar and give it a whirl.
Taking their inspiration from the likes of Guns N’ Roses, Motley Crüe and Iron Maiden, Double Entity play old school classic rock with a modern twist, and their live shows are filled with all the energy and passion that you’d expect from those great rock and metal bands of the 80’s. In fact, Double Entity would probably be more at home on the sunset strip 20 years ago, necking quadruple Jack Daniels and cokes with Slash and Nikki Sixx than playing the modern day North Wales circuit but such is life.
Formed in the latter half of 2005, Double Entity has always had the goal of creating real rock and roll. Proper rock music containing plenty of riffs and guitar solos, catchy bass lines and lyrics that you can relate to and live your life by. Declaring war on the Pop scene, the five lads from Wales set out at every gig to grab the crowd by the crown jewels and keep a firm grip from start to finish. From fast paced, hard rock tracks like Take My Tears, to fist-in-the-air heavy metal songs such as Bullets and to elaborate rock and roll epics like Blood, Sweat & Tears, there’s something for every true metal head and classic rock enthusiast in a Double Entity set, including the odd cover of rock staples.
With an image that’s sure to induce misty-eyed memories of the likes of Guns N’ Roses, Double Entity embodies everything that you associate with rock, right down to the Les Pauls and Marshall Amplifiers.
So now that you’ve read all this, why not glam yourself up, grab some beer money, and head down to the next gig. You won’t be disappointed, just make sure you come and join us for a drink!
