Formed at the end of 2000, Double Jack built up a following throughout Aberdeen. Having written some memorable original material, they released their 10 track debut album, ”Phantom Energy”, in October 2003 - on Aberdeen Independent Label FAT HIPPY RECORDS – www.fathippyrecords.co.uk. Following the launch, the band went from strength to strength, culminating in support slots with Rock legends Thin Lizzy, Graham Bonnet, Girlschool and Blaze Bailey. Following the departure of Fraser in 2006, Malkie was recruited on bass and in early 2007, long time frontman Morgan decided to take up a career in Qatar. Never ones to give up, Bob Malkie and Del decided that becoming a 3 piece was the way to go, and are fast becoming a must see in the Aberdeen area.

She will now appear in a final showcase this Thursday in Glasgow with the prize of a record deal up for grabs.
