May 11th, 2009: There are no man made laws in the earth that surpass GOD's law! His law is perfect and it never changes. November 16th, 2008: I was feeling kind of restless, so I undid my dreadlocks. Boy, was it a tedious task. It took me a total of 48 hours. Usually, when I feel restless, I pack up, and move, leaving everything behind. But that has grown old. Besides, there's nothing wrong with growing roots. I feel so much lighter. November 4th 2008: Obama wins!!!! I can't sleep. It is a fact that the possibilities have expanded for young people of color. Still, I can't help but wonder if it's fair to pin our hopes on one man. It's unrealistic to think that his election will bring some all encompassing & immediate panacea. Anyway, tomorrow's a new day, and we are All responsible for each other. That is as it should be. October 19th 2008: I'm packing my stuff and I am moving to Atlanta, GA! I'm sick of the cold weather and the rising taxes. September 28th, 2008: I sincerely apologize to those that came out to see me at the Seed Festival. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I was unable to perform. Unfortunately, I decided to have a bite to eat at a hole in the wall on my way to West Jefferson. When I went back outside to resume my trip, I discovered that my vehicle had been broken into, and that all of the band's equipment was gone. Times are hard right now and I guess people are getting more desperate than ever. September 14th, 2008: I can't sleep. Listening to the wonderful sound of the rain. Was recently contacted by a promotional company in Greece/Germany. They want to get me on radio over there, and possibly some live shows! Got another cat. Named him Dunkin. He acts like a dog. Reading a semi-interesting book about the brain. Some people with brain damage suffer with a condition known as motion blindness. They can only see people moving in a kind of snapshot fashion. There's something rather comical about that. August 27th, 2008: Someone recently asked me if they could be saved regardless of what they had done. My answer was it has already been accomplished. GOD loves you no matter who you are and no matter what you have done. The human mind might not be able to comprehend such unconditional love, but that's why GOD is GOD. August 9th, 2008: It's a sad day. Bernie Mac passed early this morning. In my opinion, he was one of the funniest men ever in comedy. I am really going to miss him. The world just won't be the same without his energy. August 5th, 2008: Well, I just finished doing my radio phone interview with 1590 AM WFBR out of Baltimore, Maryland. Boy, was I nervous! The whole time I was on, I was worried about whether or not I sounded stupid. I was also worried about long, uncomfortable periods of silence. I'd rather sing than interview. It's something that I haven't gotten completely use to. Anyway, I'm happy to be reaching a new audience! It's an exciting time....sometimes. Everyone keeps telling me the journey is the most important thing. Well, I want to arrive at the end of my journey, and look back. The die will have been cast. There's comfort in that for me. July 29, 2008: Today has been a fantastic day. My music is resonating with people and it is translating into sales. Again, thanx so much to those who have purchased the CD. I love you so. Us artists have to make a living. July 24, 2008: Things aren't happening as fast as I would like them to. But isn't that how it always is? Things happen when they are suppose to. Oh well.
