Doug Ferony Show: A Tribute To America's Greatest Songs
Doug Ferony is from the same school of singers that produced the talents from whom he took his performing lead: Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, and Bobby Darin. He is comfortable with a repertoire of tried and true standards & traditional pop, bringing to these warhorses some fresh ideas. Normally performing with his 12 piece swing band and well orchestrated arrangements, these great songs are covered very well. Doug has also produced and performed in concerts with many recording stars including Al Martino, the Jimmy Sturr Orchestra, Dena DeRose, Joey Adams, Martha & The Vandellas, The Tokens and Comedian Joseph Anthony. He has recorded 5 CD's that can be found at CD Baby, Amazon, iTunes and his web site. He can be heard on AM, FM and Satellite Radio with listeners around the world.
He has appeared in many big hit films such as Goodfellas, Back to School, Spiderman II, Mr. Deeds, and The Brave One, along with TV's Law & Order and The Sopranos. His newest CD “I Ain't Got You” proves to be another stand out with a line up of great pop songs. For his CD, I'm In Love With A Girl, Doug wrote and performed the title track and can be heard on the movie sound track Mr. Vincent. "Kansas City", which Doug covered on the same album, made the Top 40 charts in the Kansas City area. Doug has also had national radio airplay with his CD This Ones For You. "The Rockin' Blue Suede Shoes", "Paper Moon", "Always On My Mind", and a new arrangement of "The Summer wind" are favorites. The CD is made up of big band swing and jazz trio arrangements. The CD Time After Time is filled with romantic ballads and is a vocal gem as declared by David Nathan of All About Jazz. Some of Doug's performances include runs at the Chestnut Room of New York City's Tavern On the Green, The Supper Club (on West 47th St,. between Broadway & 8th Ave.), the World Trade Center's Marriot Hotel, the Iridium Jazz Club, The Arthur Ashe US Open, and on the Las Vegas Strip at the Monte Carlo and Tropicana and in Atlantic City at Harrah’s and Showboat Casinos.

There are many things I am Thankful for on this Thanksgiving. As I look at how fast the time has passed in 2009, I, also, find the treasured moments that I spent with you. Those are the times that I am Thankful for on this Thanksgiving. To have such a sweet and precious friendship with you. The smiles, and cheers that we have all shared, are memories that I will always hold dear to my heart.
Thank you for making my days here so happy! I wish you and yours a very warm Thanksgiving with bountiful blessings forevermore.

Mozart has the classic purity of light and the blue ocean; Beethoven the romantic grandeur which belongs to the storms of air and sea, and while the soul of Mozart seems to dwell on the ethereal peaks of Olympus, that of Beethoven climbs shuddering the storm-beaten sides of a Sinai. Blessed be they both! Each represents a moment of the ideal life, each does us good. Our love is due to both.
Hello my friend! I just wanted to drop by and wish you a lovely new day! May this day bring you much happiness, joy, peace and an abundance of love! Hugs ~Elaine~
