NOTE: If you're looking for the Doug Fesler that's the world reknown expert on Avalanches, you've landed on the wrong page. He's one interesting cat, but the musical Doug Fesler tends to seek out gigs in a much warmer climate.
HOWEVER... if it's good music you're looking for...pull up a chair, sit back and visit for a spell. Better yet, check out the schedule and plan an afternoon or evening to come out and enjoy a show that promises to offer a good time. After all, he's right down the road from wherever you are.
Doug has played in bars, churches, coffee houses, dance halls, restaurants, house parties, concerts and beer gardens around Texas for about 35 years in small ensembles, dance bands, and as a solo artist.
He has published and recorded his own music and has worked in studio with other artists, such as The Lucky Tomblin Band, Augie Meyers, Kevin and the Blacktears and Charlie Beall.
As a guitarist, vocalist and harmonicat, Doug clearly enjoys playing for and entertaining people. “I tried playing for just my dogs, but they can’t hold up the Bic lighter and sway rhythmically. No thumbs.”
You can often find Doug at Open Mic events with fellow musicians such as Claude "Butch" Morgan, Ken Gaines, Rodney Joe Smith and Kelli King...just to name a few.
What others are saying about him:
"The local acoustic music godfather has a large sack full of songs and plays them with soul and wit." ~Jim Beal Jr., Ramiro Burr and John Goodspeed
"Fesler, an experienced hand on the Texas acoustic music front, brings together classic folk and quirkiness for a sound and a show that feature humor and cool lyrics." ~Jim Beal Jr. and John Goodspeed

Its might be a little cold, but the chili will be bubbling, the heaters will be burning, the blankets will be soft, and the music will be fantastic! omalovesyou
Hey Doug, I noticed you don't have a gig listed for Friday 11/21. If you feel like listening to someone else play music come on over to The Cove for Big Wide Grin. And bring friends!
HI Doug, We're keeping a close eye on the radar. IKE willin' and the creek don't rise we're still planning to kick off our 19th season on Saturday night with John Batdorf from CA. To some, a concert in a listening room might be an odd setting for a hurricane party but to others it just might be perfect. Please tell your music loving friends who aren't going to be in Moore on Saturday to drop by.
