The Doughboys were formed 1986 in Montreal by John Kastner after he'd quit/fired from the Asexuals. Despite membership shuffles, problems with record labels indie and major, the band toured constantly putting on great shows and released 5 albums and an ep and a couple singles chock full rocking pop/punk greatness and influencing hundreds of bands before going on "indefinite haitus" in 1997.
hey doughboys fans-check this early footage out at the end of this skit as they perfom "Long way to go" by alice cooper!!! So rad! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFlGVYLbjqo
I used to have a set list from you guys at City Gardens in Trenton, NJ from like 1991 and 16 Sins is on it and I never knew what record it was on...guess I was a few years too early. Play with ALL and Big Drill Car in NJ. Mayxwell's would be the perfect spot.
Is it true you guys are coming to the south to play a show in Atlanta, GA? I don't see any show listings on your site...I must know! =) love your music
Hello! So I Got It, the DOUGHBOYS Should Reunite, and Play In L.A. With The Reunited BIG DRILL CAR and ALL! That Would Be The Best Show Ever! Make It Happen, Thanks
A friend is like a flower, a rose to be exact, Or maybe like a brand new gate that never comes unlatched. A friend is like an owl, both beautiful and wise. Or perhaps a friend is like a ghost, whose spirit never dies. A friend is like a heart that goes strong until the end. Where would we be in this world if we didn't have a friend.
