"Doug Hoyer isn't one to shy away from a challenge. Anyone who's seen him perform around town can attest to his self-deprecating wit and a knack for off-the-cuff humour in his wry, winsome pop tunes." - James Stewart, Vue Weekly ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

'Remember the moment, on the second date, when you weren’t sure if you should lean in for that humble kiss? The glance to the left after your wide eyes held each other just a moment too long? Doug Hoyer does, and he’ll refresh your memories with melodies.' -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I've toured coast to coast, played too many gigs to count, and am looking forward to the next one.

Hey Doug, thanks for a good time last night. Sorry we didn't make it out to the Lizard Lounge, my friends wanted to head back to the hood so I went with them. Good luck with your tour, we will play a show when you return!
Great stuff. I shall seek it out. Much more fun when you have to rumage for things, everythings too easy nowadays, don't you think? In the library hey? I seem to spend half my life in the library, i love it. I'm not too sure how i stumbled across your page, to be honest. A click here, another one there. Take care & good luck with the album.
