Do I sound like any one of these folks? No. But they are there for me in varying degrees in my conciousness when I write, play, and produce, depending on the style, vibe, and song.
Sounds Like
I don't try to imitate anyone; I just have absorbed a lot of material over the years. I make the kind of albums I'd want to listen to so the CDs have their own unique sound. My goal is to make every song really strong so you enjoy the whole album and take a sonic and emotional journey from song 1 to song 12. I can't stand buying a CD and hearing 1 or 2 good songs with a bunch of filler. I want to give listeners something worth spending their money on. But if I had to compare I'd say I'm in the stylistic ballpark of Cold Play, Police, Vertical Horizon, and sometimes Collective Soul.
