Doug McDonald nicknamed "The Arkansas Razorback" has been headlining and performing throughout the US and Canada for many years. Doug McDonald and the Blue Mirror Band have performed live at venues throughout the nation including The House of Blues, Chicago, IL, Buddy Guy's Legends, Chicago, IL, Cajun Wharf, Little Rock, AR, and the Illinois State Fair, Springfield. You may have seen him "back in the day" (the 70's) in Montreal or Vancover Canada performing with James Cotton and Junior Wells, or a couple of years ago on the college campus in Carbondale, IL or live on stage in Helena, AR, Kansas City or St. Louis, Missouri, or possibly on Beale Street, Memphis, TN. Doug continues to play venues both large and small and welcomes the opportunity to "work his magic" on his guitar for any size crowd.
Doug McDonald has mentored many a young musician starting out in the industry. He has taken them under his wing and helped them learn their chosen profession in order to take it to the next level. The Arkansas Razorback is a musicians' musician. Doug has given of himself over the years, always in the shadows, rarely in the spot light that he is truly deserving of. Doug McDonald is a blues musician that has seen it all, played it all, rides on the very cusp of fame...and IS....ALMOST FAMOUS!!!

I had my marketing cap on about a week ago and with all the bad news; the Taliban in Pakistan, the looming Chyrsler bankruptcy, the new flu epidemic, etc; I decided to go with a more optimistic theme for this summer in a bumper sticker (old school). I think its working. There are currently a little more than 50 cars in the Branson area sporting this lil’ beauty. (Yes, I comped them) What do you think?
