A native of Erie, PA, Doug has played in Erie bands like Platos Cave, Dirty Looks, East Ave, Nostromos("Burning with Mary"), Smoke Break("Highest Shelf"), Key West Express, Trev Zeppelin, and Spooner. He has also been featured on bass guitar with NYCs Schleigho and Houstons Hadden Sayers Band. With over 20 years of experience under his belt, he has amassed a wealth of material for his ever-growing solo acoustic act. Dougs full rhythms accentuate his soulful vocals through a melting pot of over 300 songs by a diverse array of artists from The Allman Brothers to Frank Zappa. Doug has been hosting Acoustic Open Mic Night every Wednesday night at the Docksider since June 2008. In addition to his solo act, Doug can also be found singing in Hello Kitty Death Squad, and playing bass in Chance of Reign and Midnight Riders.
